Ricci Inducted As A New Fellow Of The Pierre Fauchard Academy Honor Society

Dr. Eric J. Ricci has been awarded the prestigious title of Fellow in the International Dental Honor Society, the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He was nominated by Dr. Barbara Caviccio, and inducted alongside with fellow general dentist, Dr. Paul Boscia.

This accomplishment is awarded to nominees who are truly outstanding and epitomize excellence in the dental community. Fellowship is by invitation only and must have the approval of the Section in which the candidate resides or practices. According to The Pierre Fauchard Academy website, The Pierre Fauchard Academy is currently comprised of over 10,000 Fellows divided into 120 sections. There are 55 in the United States and another 65 in many other parts of the world.


The Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) and its nominated Fellows agree to the mission of recognizing and growing leaders in the dental profession, their communities and society”.


Over the years, the Pierre Fauchard Academy has played a crucial role in shaping the dental profession. Some of the Academy’s objectives include: to “elevate the character, education and professional ability of dentists by making available to them dental literature representing developments and opinions in dentistry, to encourage improvement of the oral health of the public through prevention, therapy, and restoration, as well as encourage dental students and foster advancement of their professional and scientific standards and encourage continuing education for all members of the dental profession.”
